I've used them in Iron Cross and on some pretty nasty gravel/dirt road descents out in WV and never lost a bottle.  I remember a quote from some Euro pro a while back when asked about all the loose bottles on the Koppenburg descent. Simply put, if a piece of gear costs less than three figures, it isn't good enough to be on the bike.
